Join the Annihilation Event for an afternoon of experimental sound recordings and sound performances by MAFA students and alumni in dialogue with works by experimental music composers and NASA and ESA archival sound recordings.The event will conclude with an extract from Karlheinz Stockhausen’s ‘Hymnen’.

'Sounds and Spaces' is a project run by Susan Trangmar within the MA Fine Art programme. It is an opportunity for the students to think 'outside the frame' of their usual media preoccupations and consider the possibilities of what it means to listen, and to produce sound in space as part of a mixed media and interdisciplinary practice.
